How to DIY Your Speaker Interconnection Cable
There are 5 steps to DIY your Speaker Interconnection Cable, for examples as below.
1. Select your need cable and define its cross section and length.If there is a large current from your power amplifier to the speaker, you will select related high cross section of the cable.Here, we make a speaker interconnection cables for a 10W speaker, so its cross section is smaller.
2. Select the speaker terminals. There are two types terminals or connectors, like as banana and Y fork connector. Here, we select banana connectors. Please select high quality connectors such as gold-plated pure copper connectors, which have low resistance, good electrical conductivity, anti-oxidation to reduce signal loss.
3. Cut the PVC protection cover and twisting the bare copper wires
4. Fix and screw the banana connectors to the cable and tighten them.
5. Fix and align the plastic housing to the contact
Now, an end of the cable is completed. And then, finish the other 3 ends.
Here, please note the ends will be one-to-one correspondence, red to red with same cable, and so on.
Here is a finished speaker interconnection cable.
