This article made so much more sense to me when I connected my 15 ohm Falcon LS3/5a’s to the 16 ohm tap on my Dynaco ST-70. Was using an Audiolab 6000a which was very nice, but the Dynaco did feel more relaxed and ambient. May be the source material. Listening to the Beatles Anthology on cd. All in all, very relaxing and musical to listen to

My LS3/5A’s arrived yesterday and I spent the day and night playing all sorts of music. I am absolutely over the moon with this speaker/amp combo (300B class A SET monoblocks) despite the amp only putting out approx 10watts. The speakers are brand new and they just sounded better and better the longer I listened. I’m doing it all again today. What a combo 🎶😎

There are so many different views on the LS3/5A-300B SET combos that you could be put off trying it for yourself but my LS3/5A’s arrive in a few days and I am really looking forward to trying them with my 300B monoblocks. Stay tuned 🎶😎
